1. Overview

The working principle of oil booster pump is similar to that of oil diffusion pump, so it has similar characteristics and application fields. However, the working pressure range of the oil booster pump is higher than that of the oil diffusion pump (10 ~ 10-2Pa). Therefore, in addition to being the main pump, the oil booster pump can also be used as the front pump of the oil diffusion pump to pressurize.

2. Working principle and structure of oil booster pump

Its working principle is similar to that of oil diffusion pump. It still carries gas by working jet to achieve the purpose of pumping. The difference is that the jet of oil booster pump mainly carries gas by viscous friction between the pumped gas and steam jet. In order to make the oil booster pump work in the high pressure area, it is necessary to increase the steam jet intensity (density), so the heating power of the oil booster pump is much larger than that of the oil diffusion pump with the same capacity.
