1、 Safety information

1. The pump must be maintained by properly trained technicians;

2. Confirm that the technician is familiar with the pump oil and the products of the system;

3. Before maintenance, the pump must be stopped to a safe temperature;

4. Disconnect the pump and other components from the circuit to avoid accidents;

5. After maintenance, check the rotation direction of the pump before connecting the power supply;

6. "O" rings and gaskets can not be reused if damaged;

7. During operation, the pump and oil will be contaminated by chemicals. Therefore, it is necessary to confirm whether the pump is clean and take adequate measures to prevent the harm of these harmful substances to personnel;

8. After maintenance, check whether there is leakage, and if so, seal it again;

9. Do not contact or inhale the thermal degradation products produced by high temperature (260 ℃), which are very dangerous, including oil, grease and vacuum grease.

2、 Check the oil level of the front vacuum pump

If necessary, the oil level can be checked when the pump is running, but if you want to add oil, you need to disconnect the front vacuum pump and related parts from the power supply.

1. Check whether the oil level is above the minimum limit and below the maximum limit through the visual window of the front vacuum pump.

2. If the oil level is at or below the minimum limit, open the oil filling hole and add oil to the maximum limit. If the oil level is over full, it can be drained from the outlet.

3. If the oil pollution is serious, drain the contaminated oil and add clean oil after cleaning the pump.

3、 Replace the front vacuum pump oil

1. Start the pump to run for 10 minutes to heat the pump oil, and then turn off the pump (the viscosity of the oil can be reduced after heating, which is easier to pour out).

2. Disconnect the pump from the circuit and the vacuum system.

3. Remove the plug of the oil filling hole

4. Place the pump on a suitable support (e.g. stool) to facilitate the tilt of the pump, and place a suitable container at the drain port. Remove the plug from the drain port and allow the oil to flow into the container by gravity.

5. When the oil is contaminated:

5.1 remove the plug of the oil filling hole and pour clean oil into it.

5.2 connect the pump to the circuit again and start the pump for 5-10 minutes.

5.3 disconnect the pump from the circuit, remove the plug from the drain port and let the oil flow out.

5.4 repeat the above steps until the pump is cleaned.

6. Plug the drain port plug, remove the support, and re connect the pump, circuit and vacuum system.

7. Install new oil until the oil level is near max.

8. Wait a few minutes until the oil is pumped into the pump. If necessary, add oil (shut down the pump again). Plug the filler hole.

4、 Check and clean the inlet filter of front vacuum pump

1. Loosen the inlet adapter and remove the "O" ring, the circlip and the inlet filter.

2. Clean the inlet filter with proper solution and dry the inlet filter in the shade.

3. Replace the inlet filter, circlip, O-ring and inlet adapter.

5、 Clean the carrier gas filter screen of the front vacuum pump

1. Remove the fixed washer;

2. Remove the wire mesh and filter head components;

3. Clean the wire mesh and filter head elements with appropriate solvent, and then install them on the pump after drying in the shade;

4. Fix the fixed washer again.

6、 Clean the area around the motor fan

1. Turn off the pump and disconnect it from the power supply

2. Use dry cloth or brush to remove pollutants from the fan cover and fence of the motor.

be careful:

If the fan housing and surrounding area of the motor are not kept clean, the air flow into the motor will be limited, resulting in overheating of the pump.
